Jawahar Education Empowerment Vision in Action(JEEVA)

Our organization provides training for many women to get self employed from their home.

JEEVA founded in the year 1993, the social development arm centralized in the town of Bhadravathi(D), Shimoga(D),Channageri(Tq) and Davangere(D) offers development support services to sustain community initiatives.Our organization provides welfare and empowerment of women, give them the exposure to the society with the professional training to get skilled such as Tailoring, Beautician, Handy crafts, Agarbatti making, Manufacturing of Phenol, Preparation of Bakery foods and Spices / Masala powders.We covered most of our Shimoga Talukas: Bhadravathi, Shimoga, Shikaripura, Shiralkoppa, Sagara.

ACTIVITIES

Free Health Check Up camp at vishwashwara nagara,Shimoga on 23-June-2020

JEEVA organized Free Health Check Up camp at vishwashwara nagara,Shimoga on 23-June-2020. Many people participated in this camp and this showed a great success towards the camp being conducted and made the organization feel satisfied with all due respects.

We organized Free Health Checkup Camp at Barandoor on 19.06.2020. As so far we reached 69 beneficiaries.This has helped the localites in many ways and they have faith among their secured lives through our organization.

Making paper bags

Making a paper bag for fruit merchants in Bhadravati. This was an art that was being made in order to prove the best out of the waste.This created an awareness and gave a knowledge that many things can be reused and recycled for the further use again and again without any discripencies.

Shelter for migrant workers at Shimoga.

Due to covid19 crisis, JEEVA provides shelter and accommodation for 11 Migrant workers in Shimoga.This was a very brave act towards the society as it was a time of pandemic and migrant workers were in need of a support and Jeeva stood beside.

Women Hostel Facility

JEEVA organization provides free hostel facility for women who came for employment or education and shelter for old age women.This facility of ours have lead many women to fulfill their needs and career in a better and strong way.
